The Holosync solution

March 31st 2007 23:48
What happens to people who lose their creativity? Get depressed? Can't seem to shake a low self-image?

Eventually, people who are constantly bombarded with negativity begin to think negatively. But it's not just a thought pattern that you can just "Change". It's actually a physiological response.

When we are stressed, or nervous, or sad or any negative emotion, our brains make chemicals that cause our bodies to react to THAT stimulus, and it becomes a habit to think those negative thoughts, just like it's a habit to light up a cigarette after dinner.

Enter Brainwave Entrainment. There are Binaural beats, Monaural beats, isochronics, and the good old fashioned drumbeats. These rhythms cause our brains to tune in to the frequencies they encourage. I'm not going to go into HOW the technology works, I'll just say that it works. I know it does, because it's worked wonders for me. I even wrote an article about it called "I was a screamer. Yep, MISS temper. That was me. VERY low stress threshold.

I was desperate, and no amount of money was too much to spend to "Get better" so I tried the drugs the DR's prescribed. Good, but temporary. I needed something lasting. Different herbs helped a little, but not enough to satisfy me. Then I heard about the Holosync Solution

They had a free demo CD you could order. I ordered it, and it came in the mail right as my husband and I were gearing up for a big blowout. luckily, I went inside and put on the headphones, and-no lie-INSTANTLY- I wasn't mad anymore. Yes I said instantly and I know it sounds like a tall claim, you don't have to believe it, but I lived it. Instantly. (your mileage may vary, but I considered it miraculous)

It was pricey, but the amount of help was well worth it. So in the arena of Brainwave Entrainment, The Holosync Solution is the GrandPappy. There are some other, new guys out there, some of them have some really good technology, and high quality recordings, and I intend to give each and every one of them a fair shake, But this post is to Honor the Big Dog.

What do you think?

When someone in your life needs encouragement, how do you go about lifting their spirits? What kinds of things do YOU find uplifting and encouraging?

I am not a very touchy-feely kinda gal, but I AM an emotional person, and I'm also an intellectual person. So for someone to tell me that I'm "Cool" is a nice compliment, but it isn't really encouraging, but if someone tells me something like "That's a good idea" Now THAT turns my crank.

So I'm wondering, along the lines of "How to encourage" Not like "How to encourage your child to potty train" because that isn't really encouraging, that's guidance and teaching. I'm talking about the kind of encouragment you give someone just to make them feel good about themselves.

And I want to know, what do YOU find encouraging?

Medical Terrorism?

I read this story about how a cure for cancer has been found, but the AMA, the FDA and the NCI have run the practitioner out of the states because he doesn't have a medical license.

This makes me wonder what other wonderful discoveries are out there, but we're not allowed to know about them, or use them because someone else wants to control us (us=the american public)

Taking Depression Into Your Own Hands

October 21st 2006 19:00
It could be you. Not in the mood to be around others and have a good time? Unusually irritable? If you’re suffering from prolonged sadness for longer than 3 weeks, you may be suffering from clinical depression. Your doctor can help you, and there are steps you can take to help heal yourself. Getting diagnosed is the first step to getting better, and getting your life back.

Depression or prolonged sadness is very common, around 80 percent of the American population suffer from some form of this illness at one time or another in their life. However, not all of them get treated, so depression and its ill-effects continue to be a burden to some folks, and those they come in contact with. This illness may seem simple to treat but in reality, it takes more than a little cheering up to cure depression
