Time to come clean

March 16th 2008 00:55
: Time to come clean
I've been struggling with some issues. It seems that, for
the past few years, I've been living a lie.

About 5 years ago, I had a publishing company, and it was
seeing some success, but I was still having a hard time
paying bills, so I took some risks. I thought they were
calculated well, but I was wrong. The whole thing was
a huge mess, and ended very badly.

So, I sank into depression, yada yada, I'm sure you know
how it goes from this point.

Well, they say time heals all wounds, and I thought after
a couple years, I was ready to start again. I had no idea

that, energetically, I was still carrying the shame,
guilt, and "I'm worthless" feelings from that particularly
painful failure.

But a couple of months ago, things started to look like they
were beginning to take off. That threw me into a tailspin
of fear, and self-doubt. You wouldn't believe some of the
self-sabotage I've witnessed coming from my OWN mind. I
couldn't figure out what was going on, or why I was doing
this to myself, and I kept thinking "This is not who I am,
Why, am I acting this way?"

I needed help, because I couldn't see the connection that was
right under my nose. Fortunately for me, Angela Treat Lyon
called me out of the blue one day, and I asked her what
could possibly be going on. She gave me this advice: "Start
with what you know, tap on "Even though I'm doing all this
stuff, and I don't know why" then go with whatever comes up
from that."

So I started tapping. I decided to stop taking new clients until I
had cleared this problem, because I was not doing them any
good with these sabotaging antics. So, all day, every day

I focused on every aspect I could think of, starting with childhood,
then, it came to me. After that painful episode, I haven't been the
same person. (This is not me, remember me saying that?)

Well, that was the key point. Within 2 hours, I had tapped all over
that event and the events leading up to and following it, and
cleared all the painful emotional stuff that had been hanging around
sapping my energy and keeping me "Worthless"

I'm not posting this because I really believe that I'm worthless. I'm not.
I'm hoping someone else reads this and it helps them to find a starting point
for them to deal with any past failures and begin to heal, so the future can be
a reflection of your true, wonderful, very worthy self.

If you're that person, I'd love to hear from you.

The power of play (LINK)

March 1st 2008 16:48
: The Power of PLAY
How much fun do you have on a regular basis? No really. Do you enjoy what you do? Better yet, do you do things the way you enjoy doing them?

Sometimes we forget that we NEED to have fun. It's easy to get caught up in everyday life, slugging along, chasing the almighty dollar, keeping up with the Jones' and their neighbors, that we forget to just forget about all that stuff and have fun!

Here's something for you to think about. When you were little, everything was an adventure. Watching ants tear into a hot dog was fascinating, and splashing in mud puddles was intensely satisfying. What's so different now?

Well, now all of a sudden, messes are not grown up, ants are boring (seen one, seen 'em all) and a hot dog on the ground is wasteful. Guess what? I know a good way to let go of some of that grown-up-ness, and have fun again!

If you are an EFT'er, you're probably smiling by now, because you see all the tappable issues in the statements I just made. If you're not an EFT'er, you're about to be initiated into the exclusive club of "Me-Ness, and My Is-Ness"

Please say the initiatory club pledge with me "I pledge to be me, and have a dang good time doing it, Amen"

Welcome.

What's the difference between work and play? There are many. One good one is the big difference of "Having to do" something versus "Getting to do" it. You can use EFT to reframe your self-talk around the issue and simply start seeing things a different way. This is something I do often when a big task that I've assigned myself has lost it's luster and is beginning to look a whole lot like work, which I abhor. Here's an example. I'm learning a new software program. It's a real challenge, because I have no experience in it at all. I said I would work in it for an hour a day until I was comfortable creating a project in it.

When something is so much of a challenge that you're completely lost, it might be a bigger chunk than you were ready for. But not knowing isn't a weakness. Just something you get to do. I get to learn this new software, and make something with it. How cool is that? The other side of that would have been I have to put in my hour and see if I can figure out this software that is way over my head. (doom and gloom, bluster and bitch) NOT my idea of a great way to approach an adventure. So I tackled it as play.

The end result? I did pretty good. I approached it as something fun, an adventure, and was quite impressed at the result. Ooooh, another tappable issue. Expected results.

When you're working, and you have certain expectations of results. If there are problems along the way. It's disastrous. But when you're playing, and you have expected results, when there are problems along the way, it's a new challenge, another aspect of the adventure. You get to tackle another milestone, and celebrate another success, or maybe not.

See the difference? There is no real failure in play. But in work? Well, we won't go there. How the real world, or the business world sees your accomplishment or lack thereof has no bearing on the fact that you had fun! Here's a little hint that might surprise you, too. When you're having fun doing what you do, your results will usually be better than if you were just working. Yep, it's true. Honest to God.

Artists, musicians, performers and business people. Think about it. Do you think they would do what they do, over and over again if they weren't enjoying themselves? Donald Trump has said many times that he just likes making deals (I'd say his results are acceptable, wouldn't you?) Why does he get such astounding results? Because the man is just playing-in a business suit!

Here's another difference between work and play. The level of Challenge. If your work is no longer challenging, how can you find ways to make it challenging? If nobody at your job is going to challenge you, challenge yourself! Make a bet with yourself, or a buddy. Double-Dog-Dare ya! It doesn't have to be about making more money. Just worry about having more fun, and the money will find it's way to you.

And finally, the best part of playing, having friends to play with. This one has been a toughie for me, because since I've worked at home, all my friends are in other states, and I live in the boondocks. Fortunately for me, being a coach offers communities and I've made some great friends in this line of work, we challenge each other and egg each other on, and even flip each other the finger at times just to get a laugh. (ever seen the finger smilie? isn't it cute?)

When I was working at a "Real Job" I would say it was definitely a real job. If you have to listen to a bunch of moaning and groaning and complaining, I feel for you. What I did, to help me get through it without hurting anyone, or myself, was I would do Ho'oponopono silently in my head while they were complaining. I still do that, because that way I get to feel like I'm taking an active role in "making it better" for the person complaining, whether I think they deserve it or not. (And I don't tell them, because It's a secret just between me and you)

Anyway, If you can make your work more fun, you'll get to have more fun, which makes work all play! (And you'll be more successful, too)

If you'd like to speak with me directly, Guess what? Now you can!

: Guest Article-Gary Glasscock,
Are YOU Looking Forward Or Backward?

When we begin to work towards being more
enlightened and more spiritual all sorts of things start coming out of
the closet. We start bringing up old experiences and feelings. And most
of them are the unpleasant ones.
But why are we going into the past to
begin with? Look to the future, that’s where you are going. To keep
looking back on your past as a guide to where you are going is
ludicrous. You’re past does not determine your future, what you do NOW
determines your future.

By looking back on these unpleasant past
experiences we are holding ourselves back from the future we desire.
Look at where you are and know that you are there as a result of your
past. But you do not have to stay where you are. You can have the life
you truly desire.
If you already have goals written down,
what are you doing today to get you closer to achieving those goals? If
you don’t have goals written down, do that first. Then ask yourself,
"What can I do today to achieve my goals?"
That’s the ticket right there.
You must take action in order for your
life to change. Although you may not know the answer to the above
question, it will spur your subconscious into looking for an answer.
Every night, before you go to sleep, visualize how you wish your life
to be. Get into the feeling of having the life of your dreams and
really feel it. Notice all the details of your surroundings in your
visualization. The more details you can make it the better.

Do this for 5 minutes and make it as
real as possible. This will set your subconscious into motion while you
are sleeping to find the way to achieve that dream life. Do this every
night and record what you dreamed the next morning. You’ll be surprised
at the answers you will receive.

If you feel as if you are stuck and getting no where with your life, then check out the Manifesting Your Life Coaching Program. It will help you to break through your current limitations and move forward to create the life you desire... AND deserve! Click Here for more information. Peace, Abundance, and Blessings,

January 2nd 2008 05:40
: Why aren't you Rich?
What are your limiting beliefs about prosperity? To find out, ask yourself the question, "Why aren't I rich?" You should get a whole slew of answers, ranging from rediculous to perfectly legitimate-sounding reasons. Truth is, they are all hiding in your subconscious mind, waiting to sabotage any positive effort you make in that area.

Here, I'd like to list several popular beliefs, and suggest some setup phrases to help demolish any barriers you have to prosperity and abundance. If you haven't yet, download the FREE Get Started Manual at emofree.com and let's get to work making 2008 one of the best years of our lives

: Parasite, Intestinal Cleanse
I was on Ebay looking for the Colonix Colon Cleansing program, and I happened upon This.
parasite and colon cleanse

I ordered two, because it was a way to support a home based business, herbalist, and someone producing a product I am in need of. Plus, two of these were less than half the price of the Colonix program I was originally looking for. (Ok, I'm a cheapass

Holiday Stress and Anxiety Teleclasses

November 18th 2007 19:03
: Holiday Stress and Anxiety Teleclasses
Holidays are approaching fast, shopping needs to be done, travel arrangements made, food cooked, who's sleeping at who's house? Is Uncle Don going to be drunk again? Will I say the wrong thing to my sister's new husband? Did I remember to get a gift for the new baby? Should I get a gift for my brother-in-law who hates me? OH! The stress and Anxiety of it all!

Hopefully, you don't have ALL these scenario's on your Holiday Stress list, but chances are, you've got something similar to one or two. The Holiday season usually reports a spike in attempted (and successful) suicides. Some of us just eat, drink or smoke more than we usually do. We also have a tendency to bring our daily stresses into the family Holiday gatherings. How can we help it? We're living our lives, and this stress is part of our lives

Can EFT help YOUR marriage?

November 11th 2007 13:44
: Can EFT help your Marriage?
I've been studying the EFT videos, learning more and more about what EFT can be used for, and I've been pleasantly surprised. The motto that Gary Craig, founder of emofree.com shares is "Try it on everything" and now I know why. Sometimes, when you don't know what to do, and nothing else is helping, a few rounds of EFT can help.

For instance, My husband has some very irritating mannerisms. He sometimes says things in a way that makes me feel like I'm a little kid, and in big trouble. I hate that, and it makes me want to just scream. But I can't get him to stop doing it. It's kind of like someone telling me to stop daydreaming. It's part of who I am, and I don't know how to change it. I think that must be what it's like for him

Try it on Everything

August 18th 2007 18:59
: Try it on Everything
I made the decision last week, at the urging of my friend and mentor Angela Treat Lyon to begin offering EFT sessions and lessons, because it is something I feel passionately about, and even call myself an EFT Evangelist, because I find myself telling everyone about it, and even tapping with people in public places, if they don't mind I don't mind.

Ok, I'm more of a fanatic, but truly, if more people knew how to use this technique, there would be far fewer sick and unhealthy, angry, or depressed people in the world. Wouldn't it be great if EVERYONE used it

Subliminal Messaging Software

July 26th 2007 14:34
: Subliminal Messaging Software

I got this subliminal messaging software that runs in the background, on your computer while you're working, and I've got to say, I really like it. It comes preloaded with 20 affirmations for motivation, but gives you the option of loading 10 of your own affirmations, I loaded it up with "Quit Smoking" affirmations, and I've cut down to less than half of what I used to smoke, and it's only been a week. I haven't even had to put any effort into it. I just "forget" to smoke. How cool is that? I'll let it run for another couple weeks before I change the affirmations, hopefully by then I will have quit altogether.

: Affirmations
Affirmations are effective in changing your lifestyle, behaviors and thoughts. Problem is, many of us have no idea how to form affirmations correctly, or even what kind of affirmations we need to use. I built this list because I was one of those people.

Get Happy Now

June 12th 2007 17:33
: Get Happy Now
viral happiness
There are plenty of people, from all walks of life, who think they are living a "Positive" lifestyle, or have a positive mindset. But they are not happy. I know, I was one of them. Problem is, you read all this stuff about having a positive outlook, and none of it tells you just how to BE HAPPY . Buz McGuire has taken that blank space, and filled it with a loving, simple and brain-dead-easy method for going from down and depressed to happy in a week. He even gives you permission to do it faster if you want. What a nice guy

Energy Anyone?

May 17th 2007 00:43
The past few weeks, I've been participating in a very interesting program that is being developed. It helps you to clear out all the negative thought patterns and energy blocks that were developed WAY back when. Like when you were just a baby, and some from even before that!
The process used is EFT, but the way they stir up all the crap, and then tap it away is like flushing a toilet. You have to make sure you have water with you, or you get really tired afterward. Just from tapping on your face and hands! It's powerful, and I've noticed a huge difference in the way my thoughts progress since probably the last two sessions. It's easier to stop thinking about stuff that pisses me off, and incidentally, I don't stay pissed nearly as long.
