Holiday Stress and Anxiety Teleclasses

November 18th 2007 19:03
: Holiday Stress and Anxiety Teleclasses
Holidays are approaching fast, shopping needs to be done, travel arrangements made, food cooked, who's sleeping at who's house? Is Uncle Don going to be drunk again? Will I say the wrong thing to my sister's new husband? Did I remember to get a gift for the new baby? Should I get a gift for my brother-in-law who hates me? OH! The stress and Anxiety of it all!

Hopefully, you don't have ALL these scenario's on your Holiday Stress list, but chances are, you've got something similar to one or two. The Holiday season usually reports a spike in attempted (and successful) suicides. Some of us just eat, drink or smoke more than we usually do. We also have a tendency to bring our daily stresses into the family Holiday gatherings. How can we help it? We're living our lives, and this stress is part of our lives!

Well, good news. It isn't hopeless. You don't have to move to an isolated tropical island for 2 months a year. (Although that might sound really nice) We're going to create our own little oasis. In the midst of all the stress, you may find it helpful to release the negative thoughts and energies that are keeping you stressed out, and triggering stress. Since these triggers can be ongoing, our Holiday Stress and Anxiety Teleclass will be ongoing, as well.

Beginning this Wednesday, Nov 21 (The day before Turkey day) and continuing every Wednesday until December 26 (The day after Christmas) you'll have the opportunity to vent, heal, release, and relax at a fraction of the cost of individual sessions.

To keep an intimate, seat-of-the-pants type atmosphere, classes will be limited to the first 20 respondents.

To sign up for the Wednesday, Nov 21st Class, at $17.95.
Or, get all 6 classes for only $85

Can EFT help YOUR marriage?

November 11th 2007 13:44
: Can EFT help your Marriage?
I've been studying the EFT videos, learning more and more about what EFT can be used for, and I've been pleasantly surprised. The motto that Gary Craig, founder of emofree.com shares is "Try it on everything" and now I know why. Sometimes, when you don't know what to do, and nothing else is helping, a few rounds of EFT can help.

For instance, My husband has some very irritating mannerisms. He sometimes says things in a way that makes me feel like I'm a little kid, and in big trouble. I hate that, and it makes me want to just scream. But I can't get him to stop doing it. It's kind of like someone telling me to stop daydreaming. It's part of who I am, and I don't know how to change it. I think that must be what it's like for him.

So how am I supposed to live with this guy, if he won't change his irritating behavior? I can't change him, and he has no desire to change himself-there's nothing I can do, and it looks hopeless. Right?

Well, maybe not. It happened again yesterday, and instead of having a screaming fit like I usually do, I hid in my daughters room and started tapping on how he made me feel. (Even though he treats me like a child, Even though I HATE him when he talks down to me like that, Even though I feel disrespected, like my opinions don't matter, etc) It took about 20 minutes, but I felt a lot better afterwards. But the craziest part is that after I did that, he started acting completely different. We actually had fun together. That never happens. Usually when I get that angry, I stay angry for hours. But this time, I got over it in less than an hour, and he apparently got over it as well.

There have been some other amazing things happen with EFT in our marriage, but I don't think it's appropriate to detail every one here. But I'm VERY pleased with the changes in both of us, and very grateful to have EFT as a tool, especially since neither of us really has the relationship skills we really need. Marriage counseling is still in the very near future, but with EFT, I'm certain that we'll make it, and it makes it fun.

I love this stuff.

I have returned from the Real World

November 8th 2007 15:16
: I'm BAAAAaaaaaack!
Well, after an argument with my husband, where he thought he overheard me talking bad about him to my sister on the phone, he shut off the phone, and internet. I've been offline for over a month now.

Funny thing is, I recall the conversation with my sister, and have no idea how he construed it as talking about him. Rather than continue the argument (and the almost-divorce) we dropped the argument, thankfully, and are getting on with life.

We've decided to destress our lives, and that includes selling our house.

The house
This is the house

We're also selling my Jeep.

Jeep
Lotsa Gitup

Eventually we will sell the King Sized Bedroom Suite as well. No pics, sorry.
If you have an interest in any of these Items, send me an email.

Amazing how small your own problems seem when you know theres an American Soldier fighting for his/her life, waiting to be rescued from a crashed helicopter in Italy.

I'll post again soon. Good to be back
